At STEMDan, we believe engineering isn’t just a career — it’s a mindset. Founded and run by Dan, a seasoned aviation engineer with 29 years of experience (including 25 years in military aviation), STEMDan is built on a passion for precision, problem-solving, and possibility.
For over 10 years, Dan has brought STEM to life for thousands of students aged 8 to 18, delivering hands-on sessions that spark curiosity and build confidence. From the physics of flight to the art of design, STEMDan helps young minds see how engineering shapes the world — and how they can shape it too.

A fast-paced, hands-on workshop where students design, build, and test their own balsa wood gliders. Along the way, they’ll uncover the principles of aerodynamics, stability, and control — and experience the thrill of flight firsthand
